Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease abnormalities in macrophage function and cytokines.Diehl AM.Department of liverdisease/hepatitis news Medicine, The Johns liverdisease/hepatitis news Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland 21205, USA. amdiehl@jhmi.eduMacrophage products, such as cytokines, prostanoids, nitric oxide, and reactive oxygen intermediates, influence the function and viability of macrophages and neighboring cells.
