Scoop, perhaps best known for "screaming" over songs by Timbaland and Missy Elliott, took home his first Grammy as part of Mariah Carey's win for Best Contemporary R&B Album. Scoop is among those featured on Carey's Emancipation of Mimi and collaborated with her on the single, "It's Like That." The song was also nominated for "Best Female Pop Vocal Performance," but lost to Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone." |
