This film shows the true brutality of the sport of Boxing at its very best. This film makes you feel pity and sorrow for Jake LaMotta, but also makes you despise him for his dishonorable actions. This film leads you into Jake LaMotta's world, of paranoia and self pity. A downward photo album spiral. The other thing that makes this film good is the well thought out cinematography and score it blends photo album well with the black and white format.
