Forget DePalma and Hill, the fact that he has the audacity to dedicate it to Peckinpah, is so insulting to the man's work that I feel like tracking down Wayne Kramer and making him watch Straw Dogs until he realizes he's not at all in the same league. What Peckinpah was doing was intelligent and entertaining, what Kramer does is neither. The pace is so fast and the characters so one-demensional that even though all this seemingly cool shit is going on I could give a shit because I don't care about what happens to anyone in this film.
