| "When the Day Is Short" picks the tempo up & rocks out a little. If this were a more righteous world, this song would be all over the radio! The beck atmospheric "It's Over" showcases some of Martha's AMAZING vocal histrionics. Just try to keep up with her, it's like a rollercoaster. At this point on the EP, most listeners will be absolutely beck comatised. It's just sooooo much beauty to behold in such a weary, wretched world. But it's not beck over yet. Next we get a sweet little dilly of a standard, "How Soon." No one can interpret a classic like Martha & this one brings it all back home. What a gem! This disc flat out refuses to leave my player. You have to buy it. You will never regret it for a second. there |
