Your saying that I have is absurd. However, I do think that registrations and background checks are a very good idea. We do it with cars, and they are statistically much more dangerous and useful in a far wider variety of crimes than guns ever will be. And on that topic -- I actively lobby my fellow Democrats to not only accept but vigorously assert their videos Second Amendment rights, on videos the theory that a country cannot remain half-disarmed videos and half-armed to the teeth, and not ultimately have those who think they have all the guns ultimately deciding elections with them. It's happened in other countries, and when it comes down to it I just don't trust the principled self-restraint of Republicans enough for them not to subvert the Constitution. You guys need a leash.
